Rachel Carey has been a bespoke pattern maker and seamstress for over 10 years. She has a wealth of experience making made to measure and bespoke items for both children and adults.

She studied bespoke pattern making and couture vintage tailoring at the London college of fashion and has worked in one of England’s most prestigious fashion houses.

Having danced as a child and teenager she has a good understanding of what successful dancewear should be.

The trousers we have developed together are made from premium quality heavy cotton jersey. Rachel has included double stitched seams which will retain their stretch whilst being hard wearing and strong. The waistband is reinforced for a firm and reliable fit. Top stitched front creases will minimise ironing needed. A fake fly is included to give a more formal appearance whilst being as flexible as possible. Belt loops can be added on request.

It is recommended that the trousers are washed at 30 degrees and not tumble direr. For best results they should be dried with the creases in place on a trouser hanger.
